Wonderful news this week! Moira Purver SWA has been elected a full member of the Society of Women Artists and Judy Tate has had two paintings accepted for the Society of Women Artists Exhibition which runs from June 24th to July 5th in the Mall Galleries, London, SW1. Both artists have been with us since we opened two years ago so it is a great birthday present for us and for them. You can see their new work in our Festival Exhibition for Purbeck Art Weeks and Dorset Art Weeks from 24th May to 8th June. 11 to 5 every day except Tuesday. We look forward to seeing you.

Brilliant news! Moira, who is one of our most successful and collectable sculptors has had three sculptures accepted for the Society of British Artists exhibition at the Mall Galleries, running from the 5th to the 15th March. The sculptures, ‘Sometimes I Sits and Thinks’ (shown here in our gallery), ‘Quiet Reflection’ and ‘A Man’s Dilemma’ all show Moira’s ability to capture those personal, reflective moments to perfection. A contrast to her works showing the movement and energy of the human form.
